Aynsley Lister

Aynsley is a fantastic blues guitarist – whose playing was described as MOJO magazine as ‘a fire hazard’.

What we did

Aynsley’s old site was static HTML but he updated it himself using software on his home machine. The only problem with this was that a) he had to be at home to do it and b) the software he was using had a tendency to add lots of superflous tags, so we used to have to go in every now and again to clean up the code in order to keep it standards compliant.

The new site is built on ExpressionEngine (naturally) which means Aynsley can now update the site himself wherever he is- even on tour. We added a forum as the old message board wasn’t being used that much and there was no archive.
